Automotive Workshop
With brand new training equipment, and cutting-edge technologies, this facility helps you to develop future-oriented skills that businesses across East Kent are looking for.
Here, you can also work with Hybrid and Electric vehicles.
Plane Simulation Suite
Designed to replicate the experience of an airport, complete with a replica aeroplane, a security zone and check-in desk, this space will set you up for a career across the world.
This space even includes a fully functional intercom and radio system.
Electrical Bays
Our Electrical Bays are dedicated spaces equipped with the tools and systems needed to learn about wiring, circuits, and electrical testing.
They’re designed to help you understand how to install, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems safely and accurately.
Plumbing Workshops
Our Plumbing Workshops are fully equipped spaces where you can practice real-life plumbing tasks like installing pipes and fixing leaks.
It’s designed to help you build confidence and improve your skills in a practical and safe environment.
Engineering Labs
Our Engineering Labs contain technology such as CNC machines and 3D printers.
These machines let students work on complex test pieces developed on AutoCAD, as well as real-life projects working with other departments and local businesses.
Early Years Replica Nursery
Alongside links with local nurseries and schools, our replica nursery space enables you to learn new childcare techniques, games and activities.
You can then put these into practice in your work placements.
Art Studios
Virtual Tour
Our Art Studios will bring out your creative potential, surrounded by views of the local area.
For those interested in painting, sculpture and drawing, the Art Room is your space.
Access to the Adobe Creative Suite means you’ll also create stunning photos, digital designs and mood boards to suit your artistic vision.

Breakout Spaces
In-between your studies, you can relax, play games, revise and speak to support staff in dedicated Breakout spaces.
These are located across the campus.
Wellbeing Room
Our Wellbeing Room is available to any student who requires a quiet space, or wishes to speak with a counsellor or progression mentor.
There are lots of dedicated support options available to you as a student of EKC Dover College.
Student Centre
Our Student Centre is the perfect place for you to unwind during breaktimes and lunchtimes with games consoles, pool tables, an arcade machine and more.
This is also where our Students’ Union is based, along with our Student Experience Officer. They work together to organise student trips, activities and events around campus.
Refectory
The Refectory caters for breakfast and lunchtimes, plus a wide range of hot snacks, fresh baguettes and sandwiches throughout the day.
Student Zone
The Student Zone is an open learning space which you can use whenever you need for independent study, with laptops, scanning and printing facilities all available.
Open to the Public
We also have spaces that are open to the public, which include our on-site Salon.
There are also a range of facilities available to hire across the campus for your next event, meeting or training day.
The Salon
The Salon is the high-street-quality commercial salon at EKC Dover College, offering a range of hair treatments under the supervision of industry experts.
The Salon is the perfect place to unwind and get that little bit of time just for yourself – without breaking the bank.
Venue Hire
If you’re looking for a location to host your meetings, conferences, or training sessions, EKC Dover College has bookable spaces.
